Follow scheduled maintenance, especially the timing belt and head gasket, and you're fine. Don't ignore obvious signs of issues (like your check engine light) and you won't be left stranded.

That beats the HRV, which was 9.5 seconds. Toyota Corolla Crossover base is also 9.5 but the hybrid is a quicker 7.5 seconds. Foresters are popular.

There are some features that the Forester did have over the Outback, like the better sound system option (although Outback can get the Rockford Fosgate audio system), better gas mileage and the physical buttons interface.
