A must see if you like to see a state capital. Smaller in size but worth the visit. The library was just amazing and jaw dropping beautiful! Full review by Shawn S

We parked at the Visitor Parking on the west side and walked up to the ground floor entrance for security and joined the 10:30AM tour on the 1st floor. It was acceptable to join the tour at any time.… Full review by Gene R J

I don't know. I don't live in Des Moines so don't get the local news there. So sorry!

Maybe service animals. I would call the Capitol Bldg. and ask.

A:
Shouldn't be a problem as it'll be taken through security (x-ray). Have fun!

As said by others, there is plenty of parking especially this time of the year. During session from January through April, things get less available.
