City of Madison officials said Thursday that almost 200 ballots from the Nov. 5 general election were not properly processed.

The Madison City Clerk's Office announced Thursday that 193 absentee ballots from the November 5, 2024, general election were not properly processed.

Wisconsin election officials discovered nearly 200 absentee ballots went uncounted during November’s general election. The missing ballots were found “during post-election reconciliation and cleanup” and did not affect the outcome of any election,

The City of Madison Clerk’s Office said nearly 200 absentee ballots were not processed correctly in the City of Madison during the 2024 General Election. The Clerk’s Office said while the 193 uncounted ballots would not have affected the result of any race or referendum,
