Per a story from Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger on Tuesday, a future titled “Project Rudy” could lead the sport into a future of a 70-team super league that would feature schools from the four power conferences, and add $9 billion in private capital into the sport.

The Big Ten and SEC already have the upper hand in college football. At meetings this week, their leaders are setting the stage to exact even more control over the sport’s future.
