The protest was part of an international day of action from dozens of organizations commemorating a year of the conflict that began Oct. 7, 2023.

Two students and members of pro-Palestinian groups at UTD say the university found insufficient evidence that students arrested during a campus encampment in May violated university rules.

Organizers aren't ruling out another encampment, but say they're trying to meet with university and campus officials first.
