The aerospace manufacturer withdrew its latest offer to a union whose more than 33,000 members went on strike last month, and both sides exchanged blame for the breakdown.

Boeing stock was falling in premarket trading Wednesday after the company said talks with its striking labor union weren’t going well. Shares of aerospace giant Boeing were down 1.7% at $152.06. S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were both down 0.

Boeing withdrew a contract offer for 33,000 machinists who have been on strike since mid-September, and said further negotiations “do not make sense at this point.”
