The Los Angeles Lakers star had a message for the NFL as it pushes to schedule games on a holiday that's seen NBA contests for decades.

After becoming the NBA's all-time leader in Christmas Day victories -- earning his 11th in his 19th appearance in the Los Angeles Lakers' 115-113 win over the Golden State Warriors -- LeBron James was asked what still makes the league special in today's sports landscape.

The NBA can really only respond by putting out a good product. The Christmas teams obliged for the most part this year, with the Lakers overcoming a game-tying 3-pointer from Stephen Curry with eight seconds left, getting the win on an Austin Reaves layup. James finished with 31 points and 10 assists.
