NBA fans were hoping that Friday night's game between the Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers would be a highly exciting battle between Steph Curry and a returning Kawhi Leonard. Unfortunately, it seems like those hopes won't be happening at all now.

Since the summer, the Golden State Warriors have been aggressively searching for the 1B to Stephen Curry's 1A. Is the opportunity finally arriving soon to capitalize?

“Part of it is just Father Time,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. “If you’re 40 or almost 37 in Steph’s case, it’s a lot harder — physically and emotionally — to face what those guys face night after night after night. There’s a reason players have to retire. They can’t do it forever.”
