Denis Villeneuve has revealed the first plot and character details for Dune 3, along with when he expects to (maybe) begin filming the sequel.

Messiah sooner than he initially expected. He previously said that after Dune: Part Two , he wanted to take a break from the franchise and do something else, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case.
