Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty took a 2-1 lead over the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals after an 80-77 win at Target Center in Minneapolis on Wednesday night. Ionescu took social media by storm for her viral step-back three-pointer from 28 feet out with two seconds remaining to give the Liberty a three-point lead.

The Oregon alum was close with the late Kobe Bryant and sat out the 2019 WNBA draft in hopes of winning her alma mater its first NCAA title.

Ionescu put the Liberty 40 minutes from their first championship with a final-second 28-foot 3-pointer from near the logo that was "definitely the biggest shot of my career.'

Ionescu hit from near the logo with one second left and Breanna Stewart scored 30 points to power the Liberty to an 80-77 win over the Minnesota Lynx in Game 3, and a 2-1 series lead.
