MEXICO CITY (AP) — Hurricane Kristy strengthens into a Category 2 storm in the Pacific as it remains away from land, forecasters say.

Hurricane Kristy is forecast to strengthen into possibly a Category 4 storm off Mexico's coast in the coming days, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
