Stellantis-led JV Leapmotor International has announced the global premier of its B10 electric SUV at the Paris Motor Show. It is the first model in its upcoming B-series and it says the launch marks a critical milestone in Leapmotor’s global expansion.

The Stellantis-partnered firm, Leapmotor, has revealed its new B10 SUV at the Paris motor show. The company wants to expand its model line-up even further and this new C-segment SUV will be going up against cars such as the Jeep Avenger and new Mini Aceman.

The B10 is aimed at the tech-savvy youth, and there’ll be a fully electric version and a range-extended one with a 1.5-litre engine. Head of brand strategy for the joint venture, Francesco Giancalone, tells TG.com we won’t get any further details on powertrains or pricing until next year.

Leapmotor has showcased the B10 compact electric SUV at the Paris Motor Show. The Stellantis-backed brand is planning to launch in the UK in early 2025. The new B10 will join the larger C10 SUV and the T03 city car, as part of the brand's initial line-up. It will compete with the new Kia EV3, Mini Aceman and Vauxhall Frontera Electric.

The Leapmotor B10 will be the Stellantis-backed brand's second electric vehicle in Australian showrooms next year.
