If you own a Porsche Taycan, you might plan on making a trip to the dealership. The Verge reported that recalls have been issued due to a short circuiting risk in one of the battery’s cell block modules.

Porsche Taycan electric vehicles are recalled the high-voltage battery may experience a short circuit within the battery pack. This creates a risk of fire.

Some of the EVs may experience a short circuit within certain battery modules, increasing the risk of a “thermal event”. In order to avoid the hustle, Porsche advises owners to “only charge their vehicles to a maximum of 80% battery capacity until the repair has been completed”.
